Business Development  Manager

 Primary role objectives:

Drive new revenue (sales) – sourced from international and domestic markets - through winning and establishing new accounts.

In this role you will also have an opportunity to shape and/or guide the direction of our services/product offerings to improve our market position and help us be/stay competitive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, build pipeline of new business opportunities

  • Lead the proposal/pitch process; negotiate and close business deals

  • Based on the external business trends, propose tweaks or major changes in our offering with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.

  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.

  • Research and develop a thorough understanding of the whole company’s people and capabilities.

  • Build an understanding of competitive market positioning; maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions

  • Be able to demonstrate Dentsu Aegis Network benefits/value and economic impact to clients and partners.

  • Contribute to the development of vertical market propositions.

  • Remain current on the latest marketing communication technologies through ownership of personal development

  • Perform key data analysis on your sales/business development area (program, company, trending, spend, other as needed)

  • Build relationships with clients, technology partners and Dentsu Aegis Network staff

Key Performance Indicators

  • New Client Revenue target achievement within defined margins

  • X-sell revenue target achievement for products and /or services of other Dentsu Aegis Network Powerbrands

  • Pipeline build-out and the sales conversion rate

  • Business Development Plan(s) : execution effectiveness, timeliness.

 Reqiured

  • Have Experience Building Strategic Long-Term Clients Relationships

  • Possess Excellent Interpersonal Skills

  • Be a Self-Starter and an Independent-Thinker

  • Possess an Attention to Detail and Strong Organizational Skills

  • Be Able to Multi-Task and Juggle Multiple Projects Efficiently

  • At least 10+ years of Communication/Technology-related sales, channel business development and program management experience

  • Track record of consistently exceeding performance metrics

  • International client / business win experience

  • Demonstrated ability to create and drive successful solutions/revenue direction

  • Strong verbal, analytical and written communications skills

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences

  • Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations

  • Technical or business degree desired

  • Experience working in a communication/technology sector
